Production Time

We are currently working on a 2-5 business day production time turn-around. We ship packages twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays). Orders are produced and shipped in the order they are received. Once an order ships, an email with tracking information will be sent to the email address supplied when order is placed.

How Long Will My Decal Last?

Simple Stencils will last almost indefinitely when placed in an interior environment. They do work in bathrooms and other humid environments so long as the surface is non-porous. They can also be used outdoors, however their lifespan will depend on how much exposure to sunlight and rain it has. Regardless... think years!

Can I move my decal?

Our decals are meant for a one-time application. Once it is removed, it's difficult to place the decal in a new location without the top layer that keeps everything spaced and aligned, as it is during the first application. If you would like to order a duplicate of a previous purchase for placement in a new location, contact us with your previous order number for a special discount code.

Every order will ship within 1-5 business days. If you need your order before a particular date, just let us know so we can accomodate you if possible. Orders less than $75 will ship via USPS or UPS for just $5 or $10, depending on size. We ship our decals rolled carefully to prevent damage, and insured.

I had trouble getting the decal to stick to my wall. I contacted support and almost immediately they answered me with suggestions of what to try. Nothing worked, it seems there is a type of paint that doesn’t work with some adhesives. They offered to send me a decal in a different color with a stronger adhesive for free! I am disappointed that my original decal did not work, but that was not SS fault but I loved that they wanted me to be a happy customer and that is such a rare thing these days. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Oh and btw I have ordered from SS before and have never had this problem, it definitely was an isolated event. And the stencil is adorable!

There is a fine balance between having enough adhesion and too much, so sometimes, depending on the surface, it can take a little extra effort on certain colors/fonts.
