Wall of Fame Winner - December

Beautiful hand painted artwork by a customer who added a Simple Stencil scripture decal on top to create a true inspirational masterpiece. Linda K is our Dec. Wall of Fame Simple Stencil Decal Winner!

Simple Stencil Wall Decals Work On Canvas Too!

We knew when our customer Linda K. shared with us the results of her decals applied to her hand-painted artwork (on canvas), we had to enter her into our wall of fame contest. Check out how beautiful Linda's results were (and artistic talent, yes she painted herself!). She turned her own artwork into an uplifting piece of art to inspire many others in a beautiful way.

Linda used our decals to add meaningful scriptures to the artwork by applying after the paint was dry. And look at this one below... Linda really has a special talent!
Our wall of fame winner for the month of Dec. used a favorite scripture bible verse decal on top of her own beautifully painted artwork to create a masterpiece.
Here's a close up of the scripture part... (Thank you Linda for sending such well done pictures, this definitely helped us determine you as the winner this month!)

We love the way Linda trusted us for her decal needs on such precious personally painted artwork. Congratulations, Linda on winning, we look forward to seeing what you come up with next!
Do you want to add an inspirational verse or quote to artwork in the same way but perhaps don't have your own painting skills. You're not alone, painting is not my forte, which is why I took up stencil work! But you can have the same success with artwork you may have laying around the house, or found at a local thrift store. Simply order a quote that you love to fit the artwork and apply just as you would to a wall (or any other smooth surface).
We have had previous customers use decals to update an older piece of artwork using the "Reverse Painting Technique". Once you apply the decal to the artwork, paint over the entire surface with a color that matches your room or theme. Then, just before the paint is dry, remove the decal letters revealing the artwork below just in the places the letters were. It is a fun way to repurpose old artwork in a creative and useful way. They may great gifts too! (look for a tutorial of this method coming soon!).
We hope you have been inspired by Linda's Simple Stencil decal project as much as we were.
Send us a picture of your finished Simple Stencil decal project and you may be featured here next month. Plus, every winner chosen wins a $40 gift card towards a future purchase. Read more about our Wall-of-Fame requirements and submit photos here.

I have always appreciated the written word. My major in college was Advertising Design and classes involved the printed word, photos and layout. I have done calligraphy but enjoy the ease of using Simple Stencil products.
