Dimensional Letters Installation Patterns & Guide
Every dimensional sign order ships with a full-size installation pattern or guide, so your letters go up straight, level, and evenly spaced without measuring each one. The manufacturer chooses the best pattern for your order based on your mounting style, letter size, and thickness, so you will always receive the right tool for your installation.
Which pattern comes with my order?

Basic installation steps
- Prep the wall. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or loose paint.
- Position the pattern. Tape your pattern or stencil to the wall and check it with a level before you begin.
- Install the letters. For stud mount, drill at each marked hole, add adhesive, and press the studs in. For tape mount, peel the backing and press each letter firmly into its cutout.
- Remove the pattern. Carefully peel the pattern away once the letters are set, and allow any adhesive to cure as directed.
Plain mount letters arrive without hardware, so you or your installer will attach them with your own adhesive or silicone. Choose a product rated for your wall surface, and an exterior-grade product for outdoor installations.
