Church Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, as long as the block is painted and relatively smooth. Painted concrete block is common in fellowship halls, classrooms and hallways, and our thin vinyl conforms to it when you press it in firmly with the included squeegee. Raw (unpainted) block, brick and heavy stucco are not a good fit.

Every order comes with a free practice decal so you can test your wall first. Not sure yet? Order our $1 sample pack before you buy.

Absolutely. You can type any Bible verse into our online Design Center and preview it in your choice of font, size and color. For a church logo, cross or a custom layout, contact us and our design team will send a free sketch and price quote.

Vector logo files (AI, EPS or SVG) work best, but send the best file you have and we can usually make it work.

Measure the width and height of your wall space and leave about 4 to 12 inches of margin on each side for visual balance. Every product page lists exact dimensions for each size.

For large walls, send us your measurements and a photo of the wall. We'll recommend a size, mock up the design to fit your space, and quote any custom size, usually within 24 business hours.

Every design comes in over 60 matte colors plus satin silver, gold and copper metallics. Because screens show color differently, we recommend ordering color samples if you're matching paint or décor.

Need an exact color from your church logo? Premium color options are available on request for an upcharge. Contact us with your color specs (a Pantone number is ideal) for options and pricing.

Yes. Our decals use a removable, water-based adhesive (Oracal 631 vinyl) that peels off cleanly without damaging paint or leaving residue. Peel slowly from a corner, and warm the vinyl with a hairdryer if it resists.

Each decal is made for a one-time application, so plan to order a new one rather than move it. Contact us with your previous order number if you'd like a duplicate for a new spot.

Every order is made to order in our USA facility and ships within 1 to 3 business days. Large orders, or orders that need a sketch approved first, may take a little longer. Shipping is free on US orders over $75.

Working against a date? Contact us with your event date and we'll let you know the best rush and expedited options.

We'll make it right. If your order arrives damaged, email support@thesimplestencil.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged decal and the shipping package. We'll send a free replacement or a full refund.

Having trouble during installation? Send us photos of the problem and your wall surface. We can often send replacement letters, words or a new decal, and we're happy to help you troubleshoot.

Please keep your decal and packaging until we've confirmed a resolution. Our 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee requires proof of the issue, either photos or the returned decal. See our returns policy for details.

Still have a question? Contact us. We usually reply the same business day.
